So, credit card debt — because I have been asked this — and this may be more for a first-time home buyer, but I was asked a question once by my son: “Getting a credit card will help boost my credit score, right?” 💳📈
I said, “I do not think that is the kind of credit you want.”

It can actually help, because you need two trade lines to get the ball rolling, and you need them for more than a year. So you need two trade lines — and a lot of times it is a credit card. 🧾

“And if you miss a payment on a credit card, doesn’t that just wreck you?”
Yes.

“But if you miss a payment on the credit card, maybe you should not buy it.” 😂
