With a population projected to be 10 Billion in 2050, the world faces how to produce and distribute food using less Greenhouse Gas emissions. Lindsey Brannon, Co-Founder of Rainbow Produce, a minority- and women-owned business in NYC, explains how Rainbow is a catalyst for cities globally to convert their food carts and trucks to zero emissions while transforming healthy eating into an inclusive and fun experience for everyone.

Lindsey Brannon is a female entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in finance, strategy, and operations. Lindsey spent nine years at J.P. Morgan financing over $6 billion in infrastructure, affordable housing, social, and sustainability projects. Lindsey’s passion for sustainability continued off Wall Street as the Head of Public Finance for a Series A FinTech startup called Neighborly, with Emerson Collective, FinTech Collective, and 8VC as lead investors. Lindsey pioneered constituent-first, technology, and sustainability financings including a Rockefeller Foundation-sponsored Environmental Impact Bond to address flooding for the City of Atlanta, GA.

Lindsey has also successfully launched innovative companies tackling issues of internet connectivity and food sustainability. She co-founded a broadband infrastructure company called Lit Communities in 2019 helping secure a $75M Series A and was a key member of the strategy and finance teams at Sensei Ag, Larry Ellison of Oracle’s indoor agriculture startup venture to grow food indoors using less emissions, land, and water. In April 2022, Lindsey co-founded a company called Rainbow Produce, promoting sustainable, inclusive, and healthy eating via zero emission electric powered food carts. Rainbow Produce serves as a catalyst and entry point for aspiring small business owners and pushes municipalities to electrify their food carts and trucks.
