Jefferson Doyle, MBBChir, PhD, MHS, specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and genetic eye disease. He joins us to discuss manifestations of ocular issues that can affect individuals with EDS or HSD, and will also discuss special considerations an individual should take into account when approaching the conversation of surgical repair of an eye.

Dr. Doyle has published on a number of genetic disorders over the past decade and has given multiple national and international talks. His main research focus is understanding the genetic causes and molecular mechanisms driving genetic eye diseases, and utilizing that knowledge to develop new treatments.
