Vietnamese refugee Vinh Tran knows all too well the impact the Vietnam War had on Vietnamese people. He grew up during the aftermath of the war and came to Australia with his family when he was 18-year-old. In 2007, he returned to Vietnam for a few years to work with charities and orphanages before returning to Australia.

In 2012, Vinh decided to combine his love of cars with his desire to help the people of Vietnam and established Military Vehicle Org, a not-for-profit museum located in Bowral. Through the museum Vinh works to educate people about the ongoing struggles facing Vietnamese people, raising money for charities back home. He's also using the museum to connect and support local war veterans.
