SEYNI: Alseyni KOUYATE aka SEYNI, Guinean griot, conveys the essence of Africa through the Jamaican Soul. This fragrance exudes a sublime song of complicity between Ballaphone, Jamaican Skanks, Brass Phrases and Traditional Rhythms; this is YANKADI REGGAE.

Known for his stage performances SEYNI captivates his audience, capturing the attention to better convey his message.
He has 6 albums to his credit including the last "MON GENERAL", inspired by Guinean actuality.

At the age of 17, SEYNI left his native Guinea. In Ivory Coast, he joined the troupe Koteba of ABIDJAN and became its main composer. He released his first album "MOUSSO KO" and moved on several international tours.
Musician for MORY KANTE (touring in Africa), committed and militant singer, SEYNI composes and also runs for the movie "LA VIE PLATINÉE" by Claude CADIOU in 1987 with Mamady KEITA, in which SALIF KEITA interpretes pieces of SEYNI.

In 1989, he created his group BDM (Black Dance Music).
This gave birth to his first album in France in 1993, "ALLAH NIKKI", and will provide many festivals such as «Printemps de Bourges» or «Musiques Métisses» in Angoulême.

In 1997, the SOME STYLE BAND from Bordeaux accompany him and record the album "NANA" (Micorason/Melody). On the road his cronies ROOTSABA will follow him for four years and play with him in France, Germany and Guinea.
This collaboration will give birth to "LIMANIYA" in November 2002 produced by Otis M'BAYE (former manager of Mory Kante, founder of the label Micorason). MANU DIBANGO did not hesitate to put his sax on the first title of the album.

After passing through France with his buddies ROOTSABA, SEYNI comes up with his new band: The YELIBA.
