This video covers the basics of the Ink and Paint material in 3ds Max.
The Paint controls of the material are described in this session of the video. Ink and paint material allows you to render 3 dimensional objects as flat images or two dimensional things. Cartoon like rendering is possible with the help of this particular shader. We walk through the attributes of the ink and paint material in this video. Being the first in the two part series it covers the attributes of the paint component of the ink and paint material, which forms flat fill for the 3d object for the toon rendering while ink forms the outlines around the flat paint rendering.
