I decided to try my luck with the bluegill at Lake Chicot since I had a pretty good time during the previous trip. The bluegill were slow but the channel catfish were tearing up my crickets. I also caught a couple of bowfin. I threw some crappie jigs out a few times, but I only managed to catch two crappie. Even though the bluegill were slow, I managed to go home with a decent amount of fish.
