In TF2, how to get rid of fire, jarate, uber charge, bleed, and gas effects on the screen overlay. This is meant for HLAE/Lawena. This will not work in casual.

An optional mod is the No Water Overlay Mod, which removes water effects when you submerge. But water behaves differently from other effects in HLAE. The water effect only appears when the camera itself is underwater, which makes sense. Personally, I find this appropriate for videos, so I leave the water overlay in. In addition, traditional TF2 Replays do NOT remove this water effect. So I would not recommend using this mod for regular TF2 videos, but the option to remove it is available.
