Upgrading the RAM of a MacBook Air is not for the faint hearted! (But doable...)

4GB of system memory is just not enough. The machine feels sluggish and barley handels everyday tasks- Lets change that.
I will show you how to upgrade the RAM of a 2015 MacBook Air from 4GB to 8GB and therefore make it usable again. For that i will harvest memory chips from a donor board, reball the memory chips and then solder them onto the logic board additionally some adjustments in the memory straps are needed for the machine to work properly (strap mod).
The same process aplies for all MacBook Airs from 2014-2017.
