I'm not going to sign up for Bitclout or use its services. Bitclout claims to be a social media site -- like Twitter -- but it allows people to buy "creator coins", essentially tokens, based upon a creator. However, there are some issues with Bitclout. For one thing, if you deposit money into Bitclout, you cannot transfer it to another currency like the US dollar or another crypto like Bitcoin. There is no way to sell the crypto that is used on the platform. The other issue is that the influencers listed on the site may not have given approval to have their image and likeness used on the site. I think that there are a lot of ideas that surround this decentralized universe we're moving towards, but along the way there will also be sites that we probably should avoid, too.
