Boston North South Rail Link (NSRL) will also be talked about. Amtrak's Acela along the Northeast Corridor (NEC) is the first and currently only high-speed rail service in the United States. However, NEC infrastructure is crumbling. Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts are racing to fix their sections of the high-speed rail corridor, but with Trump's election results, will they be able to fix it in time?
