I have been helping people off the fence for a decade and have done hundreds if not thousands of hours of research on getting out of your own way to make decisions. Making a decision or getting off the fence, as I like to call it—requires logic and critical thinking. But it equally also requires you to follow your instinct or your GUT.
The best strategic decisions are made with a combination of intellect and instinct. And therefore, decision making is an emotional process. Good strategists collect info based on INTELLECT AND INSTINCT until they feel they can make a good decision.
If you're stuck, make a choice- any choice. If you're unhappy, you can choose again later. But inaction and being stuck is the unfriendliest place to be.
So yes, decision making IS about tapping into your intuition. We all have it if you wake up to it.
