Guitar-Powered Commodore 64 SID Synth 🎸👾✨

Turning my #C64 into a guitar-powered SID synth thanks to TeensyROM 👾 This incredible tool from ‪@TravsterOR‬ transforms the Commodore 64/128 into a MIDI powerhouse, ROM emulator, Fast Loader, and Internet hub. With support for up to 3 SIDs, you can make your C64 sing through any DAW or stream chiptunes directly from DeepSID, playing it on the original sound chip hardware.

In this video, I’m using a regular guitar with standard pickups, paired with PC software like ‪@JAM-ORIGIN‬ Guitar MIDI 2 (or ‪@migic6199‬ for solos). By connecting it through TeensyROM with its built-in Paul Slocum's Cynthcart MIDI software, I can make epic 8-bit synth sounds coming straight from the C64. The future is here! 🎸👾✨
