Eco-friendly, fast and affordable cleaning of sterling silver, with products you have at home! Baking powder and tin foil

1. Add a sheet of aluminium- tin foil in a bowl, with the shiny side up.
2. Put the jewelry on top of the tin foil.
3. Add one tablespoon of baking soda per silver jewelry.
4. Add boiling water, you will notice some bubbling and a rotten-egg smell as the sulphuric gases released in the cleaning process.
5. Move the jewelry around with a wooden or plastic utensil so all surfaces come in contact with the foil. You will notice the jewelry becoming bright again.
6. Rinse the jewelry in tap water (put a sieve in the drain so you don’t lose anything).
7. Wipe with a soft cloth or paper so it does not scratch your jewelry, or use the cloth that came with your MoM of Sweden jewelry.

NOTE. Do not use baking soda to clean jewelry with an induced oxidized surface or parts, such as the black bottom of the Edge. The oxidization will be damaged or disappear!
