Inside India's MOST EXPENSIVE District (BKC, Mumbai) | बान्द्रा कुर्ला संकुल 🇮🇳

Continuing my adventure through the incredible city of Mumbai, I wanted to explore it's modern side in the affluent business district of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC, बान्द्रा कुर्ला संकुल) to contrast the reality of Dharavi which I had visited the previous day.

I was impressed by it's modernity, and the huge investment that Mukesh Ambani (India's richest person) has made alongside leading global companies including Amazon, the Reserve Bank of India, National Stock Exchange, and even YouTube's parent company, Alphabet (Google). There recent makeover ahead of the G20 summit was also apparent in the appearance of the district.

My day would see me take in the sights and get a better understanding of what life is like for the upwardly mobile in Mumbai, including a visit to the Nita Ambani Cultural Centre (located within the Jio Convention Centre) which provided a luxury experience on a par to that of Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE.

I was made to feel very welcome there as a visitor, and rounded off my day with a visit to India's biggest mall - Phoenix Market City - to meet the locals and stop off for an ice cream.
