As part of our Reimagining Rights in the Americas Conference, E. Tendayi Achiume delivered a keynote on Climate Justice and Reparation From a Racial Justice Perspective.

E. Tendayi Achiume is the Alicia Miñana Chair in Law at UCLA School of Law and former faculty director of the Promise Institute. She recently finished her period as UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.

A human rights scholar and influential leader at the intersection of human rights and racial justice, Professor Achiume speaks on Climate Justice and Climate Reparations from a Racial Justice Perspective. She was joined by IACHR Commissioner Margarette May Macaulay for a perspective from the Inter-American Commission.
