Ergonomic Partners engineers and fabricators designed and built this custom tool to grip and lift fuel tanks for recreational watercraft. The tool provides a safer, more efficient, and cost-saving method for lifting and handling fuel tanks. The tool features a steel and aluminum powder-coated frame, four air-saving vacuum pumps, adjustable pneumatic powered grip arms with four vacuum gripper cups, vacuum indicator gauge, unique high arching handlebars that allow lift clearance for 6.5-foot hulls, grip/release with interlocking common button controls, momentary grip arm lever controls, up/down, E-stop, and float mode controls, with an always-on OLED high-resolution display on the handle. The tool is suspended from an articulating Gorbel Easy Arm jib crane with G-Force Smart Hoist and uses two anti-drop safety systems, a common button and our gripper safety circuit preventing operators from releasing the tanks in mid-air.
