The Prime Minister was briefed on global projections of indicators for the monsoon next year. The meeting was briefed on short, medium and long-term plans by the Ministry of Climate Change. The Prime Minister approved the short-term plan and directed to start its implementation immediately.
The Prime Minister also directed to prepare for holding a meeting of the National Water Council to formulate a national plan for better water management.
