MEETING HIS HOLINESS, THE MOST REVEREND (DR.) RUFUS OKIKIOLA OSITELU (PhD), PRIMATE, CHURCH OF THE LORD ALADURA, WORLDWIDE IS LIKE MEETING A PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND HISTORY ROLLED INTO ONE.

For good, he is a Doctorate Degree Holder in two different extreme disciplines; Computer Engineering and Theology.

Primate RUFUS OSITELU is the Current President, World Council of Churches (WCC) African Region.

He was elected into that esteem able position of ecclesiastical responsibility on Monday September 5 Year 2022 in far away Karlsruhe, Germany.

Dr. RUFUS OKIKIOLA OSITELU is the 4th Primate of the Church, founded by his father a century ago.

He is one of the sons of the late Prophet General Papa Superintendent-General Josiah OLUNOWO OSITELU (the 1st Primate and Founder of The Church of The Lord Aladura TCLA) of blessed memory.

He succeeded his late brother Most Reverend Gabriel Olusegun OSITELU (3rd Primate) on 22nd Day of August 1998 during the 61st edition of the annual TABIEORAR Spiritual Festival.

His father the 1st Primate ruled for 41 Years (1925-1966) while his successor, Primate Emmanuel Adeleke Adejobi led for 25 Years (1966-1991)

Primate Adejobi was succeeded by the Founder's Son, Most Reverend Gabriel Olusegun OSITELU who ruled for just 7 Years (1991-1998) before Primate RUFUS OKIKIOLA OSITELU was anointed to lead.

He was revealed to lead the Great Church according to a divine revelation to the Supreme Council of Prelates (SCP)and in accordance with Section 7 Articles XVII of the Constitution of The Church of The Lord Aladura Worldwide by the most senior Prelate at the occasion, to the glory of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

He has since undertaken several reforms that has endeared global reckoning of the church in over 25 countries within Africa, Europe and the United States of America.

The Church clocked 100 Years in May 2025 and 59 Years of the demise of the Prophet-Founder Papa Josiah Olunowo Ositelu (Passed away 12th July 2025) and a lecture was organized in honor of the role of the ALADURA Church in a terrific global atmosphere.

There were several speakers including Professor Dada a professor of Religious Studies at the University of Ibadan as Guest Speaker.

This coming November, between 17th and 24th, there will be a Grand Centenary Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration with several events to mark the 100th Year Anniversary of The Church of The Lord Aladura.

About Six Governors from the Western Part of Nigeria are to grace the event with visitors from all walks of life.

On Monday July 28th, Asabe Afrika TV and Church Times On-line Newspaper paid a courtesy visit to the Primate at his Ogere, Remo Ogun State vicarage where he spoke about the Centenary Celebration of the Church among several other issues of National importance and global development.

The Primate who was surrounded by some of his lieutenants in the hierarchy of the Nigerian Diocese and Ogere International Cathedral spoke about God's love, development and ambition of the Church after a Centenary of Graceful existence.

Primate RUFUS OSITELU who has earned more global recognition for the Church since 1998 spoke about the role of his father's calling and how The Church of the Lord, Aladura (TCLA)has remained Scandal free in the last 10 Decades of existence.
