Rachel Reeves will be announcing her first #budget2024 tomorrow.
She has been vocal about filling the "£22 Billion black hole".
So, in 2022, she declared in Parliament that the "ultra-wealthy" should be taxed, and the Conservative Party were doing nothing about it. So, by logical deduction and from what she said in the House of Commons, those with non-dom status will be in her crosshairs when she becomes Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Well, here you go, Rachel.
You now have the opportunity to close this loophole, but about a month ago, you also realised that this might create a large outflow of capital when those ultra-wealthy scarpered with all their loot.
It is easy to be in opposition and rattle on, but the proof is in the eating.
The first 100+ days of the Labour Party have been disastrous, at times ridiculous and very often divisive.
Rachel, this is your chance to turn on the bilge pumps and save the good ship Labour from sinking.
