Butter 150g (⅔ cup)
Sugar 150g (¾ cup)
3 Eggs
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Almond essence ½ teaspoon (optional)
Plain flour 200g (1 ⅓ cups)
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Chopped nuts 50g (¼ cup)
Milk 60ml (¼ cup)

Caramel sauce 200ml (about ¾ cup)

Homemade Caramel Sauce:
Sugar 150g (¾ cup)
Butter 45g (3 tablespoons)
Heavy cream/ Double cream 120ml (½ cup)

Measuring cup size - 240ml
Baking pan 20x20 cm (8x8 inch)

Bake in a preheated Oven at 170c (338f) for 30-35 minutes
