Yang Zhao is CEO of ACEINNA, which was spun off from MEMSIC, Inc. in 2017. In 1999, Yang Founded MEMSIC and served as President and CEO of MEMSIC Inc. since then. Listed as one of “Twelve Shakers and Movers in MEMS”, Yang led MEMSIC from founding to IPO in NASDAQ in 2007, privatization in 2013, and sold part of the MEMSIC business to HC Semitek in 2017.

Before founding MEMSIC, Dr. Zhao was a founding member in Analog Devices Micro-machined Product Division for seven years. Dr. Zhao has a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Princeton University working with Prof. Daniel Tsui who won the 1998 Nobel Prize in physics. Dr Yang also has two Master degrees in both Physics and Electrical Engineering - also from Princeton University.

Dr. Zhao obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Beijing University. He holds over 30 patents in semiconductor and MEMS technology. Over the years, Dr. Zhao has won various global awards in the field of MEMS technology and applications.
