The Partnership Report 2022: Driving Growth, Boosting Resilience is a digital publication that highlights the work of ADB and its partners in cofinancing development in Asia and the Pacific in the past year.

Despite the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impacts gradually diminishing, 2022 saw new challenges emerge—from the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the worsening food crisis to extreme weather events. These were stark reminders of how shocks to the system can unwind development. Amid these challenges, ADB and its partners continued to leverage partnerships.

The report presents how ADB’s financing partnerships built and nurtured the resilience of developing member countries, enabling them to withstand economic and other shocks. It offers insights on cofinancing in ADB’s sovereign and nonsovereign operations, stories of growth and resilience, and individual partner and trust fund profiles that showcase their contributions to ADB’s operations.

ADB’s annual Partnership Report features the work and achievements of ADB’s financing partnerships with bilateral and multilateral institutions, the private sector, and other development partners each year. Produced by the Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships Department of ADB, the report illustrates how financing partnerships are delivering concrete impacts on the ground, how they are aligned with ADB operational priorities, and how partnerships amplify ADB’s operations.
