As it's a mango season, why not try some delicious sweet dish using Mangoes and basic ingredients available in our kitchen.
Here's a recipe how you can make Mango Kalakand at home.

What: Mango Kalakand | Kalakand

Ingredients:
1. Milk - 500 ml
2. Ripe Mango (Puree) - 1
3. Sugar - 2 tbsp
4. Ghee - as per your need
5. Alum - Piece equal to green peas / Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp

Recipe:
1. Take 500 ml of Milk in a pan and boil it at hight flame.
2. Move the flame to low- medium and keep stirring the milk till the quantity becomes half.
3. Add alum to the milk or you can even add 1 tbsp of lemon juice to make lumps.
4. Once the milk starts forming lumps, you need to remove the excess water by stirring constantly.
5. Once the excess water is removed, add mango puree to the pan and stir occasionally.
6. Add 2 tbsp of sugar to the pan and stir continuously at high flame. Make sure you don't burn it.
7. Add 1/2 tbsp of ghee and stir continuously till it starts to gather.
8. While the it starts to gather, take your mould and grease it with ghee/butter/vegetable oil.
9. Transfer the mixture in the mould and cover it with foil paper and then cover the entire thing with towel.
10. Keep it at dry are for 2 hrs and tranfer the mould to refrigerator.
11. Keep it for 2-3 hrs.
12. Once taken out, put shredded almonds on top and cut it in your desire way.
13. Ready to serve.
