Thirugnanasambandar is one of the prominent Saiva Nayanars who lived in 6th / 7th century. He started to sing hymns on Lord Shiva at the age of 3. He along with Appar-another prominent Nayanar propagated Saivism in opposition to Jains and Buddhist in 7th Century. He composed Kolaru Pathigam- கோளறு பதிகம் to overcome the adverse effects caused by Navagrahas. He attained moksha at the age of 18.This video attempts to explain the meaning of each hymn.
