This is a local old school DimSum 點心 shop operating for few decades Kuala Lumpur.

Usually DimSum restaurants opens in the morning to cater for breakfast but this shop is unique in the sense that they operate almost 24hours. So, if you are in the area and are craving for some DimSum at midnight, just head on over and have your cravings satisfied.

Their DimSum size are also larger than the other DimSum restaurants. There are lots of variety of DimSum but we only able to try a few.

1. CharSiu (BBQ Meat) Bao 叉烧包 , Score: 7/10
The Baos (steamed bun) here are different from the usual DimSum restaurants as well. It is more porous and fluffy compare to the others. Similar to Chai Bao (Vege Bao) texture usually sold in Pasar (Wet Market). The CharSiu is nice.

2. SangYuk (Meat) Bao 生肉包, Score: 7/10
The bigger version is usually called Dai Bao (Big Bao in Cantonese language), this is the smaller version. The even bigger XXL version of this Bao is called Yip Chee May Bao made famous in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Yip Chee May is a famous Hong Kong actress in the 80s and 90s. It is named after her as a tribute to her... physical attributes.

3. PiDan (Century Egg) Porridge 皮蛋粥, Score:7.5/10
The PiDan Porridge is thicker than other DimSum restaurants as well. Taste is good.

4. LohMaiKai 糯米鸡 (Chicken with Glutinous Rice), Score: 7.5/10
A traditional must-haves in a DimSum restaurant. Slightly sweet, fragrant glutinous rice steamed with a piece of chicken on top along with Shiitake mushrooms, dried shrimps and fried shallots.

5. SiuMai 燒賣 and other DimSum 點心, Score: 8/10
DimSum originated from Guangzhou, a Cantonese cuisine. It's usually enjoyed in a breakfast with bite-size dishes similar to Sushi in Japan. Most of the DimSum here are slightly larger in size than the other DimSum restaurants, nice.

6. Phoenix Claw 鳳爪 (actually it's Chicken Feet la...), Score: 8/10
Chicken Feet steamed in sweet, sour, spicy sauce. Very umami and soft.

There are still many other types of dishes you can order at a DimSum restaurant include HarKao (Prawn DimSum), CheeCheongFun (Rice Flour Noodles), YongTauFu (various tofu), Fried Radish Cake, Yam Cake, various Baos include Custard Bao, Vegetable Bao, Tau Sar (RedBean Paste) Bao, LinYong (GreenBean Paste) Bao, Wine Chicken Bao and Fried DimSum

Environment cozy and nice. Looks like a typical Chinese coffee shop.
Service is good. Food is served within 10 minutes.
The price is reasonable.
