इस संसार में सभी प्राणी नश्वर हैं और एक न एक दिन सभी को मरना होता है. लेकिन सभी के प्राण अलग तरह से निकलते हैं. कुछ लोगों की मरते समय आंखें उलट जाती हैं तो कुछ का मुंह खुला रह जाता है. वहीं कुछ लोग मरते समय मल-मूत्र त्याग देते हैं. ऐसा क्यों होता है, इस बारे में गरुड़ पुराण में काफी कुछ सपष्ट किया गया है. यहां जानिए उन बातों के जवाब.

गरुड़ पुराण के मुताबिक मरते समय आत्मा शरीर के नौ द्वारों में से किसी से शरीर छोड़ती है. ये नौ द्वार दोनों आखें, दोनों कान, दोनो नासिका, मुंह या फिर उत्सर्जन अंग हैं. जिस व्यक्ति की आत्मा उत्सर्जन अंग से निकलती है, मरते समय वो मल-मूत्र त्याग देते हैं. हालांकि गरुड़ पुराण में इस तरह से प्राण का त्यागना अच्छा नहीं माना जाता.

After this the prana vayu leaves through the lower passage. An invisible being the size of a thumb emerges along with the Prana Vayu. Yamraj's messengers tie a loop around his neck and take him with him to Yamlok. Such a death is considered to be of a sinner.

In the Garuda Purana, Lord Vishnu tells Garuda that those who are suffering from illusion and have a lot of desire to live and who have a lot of attachment to their families, such people are not able to become recluse from their mind. When the death of such people is near, the eyes stop working, hearing stops from the ears. The phlegm starts becoming more and he is unable to speak anything to anyone even if he wants to. Such people do not want to give up their lives because of the attachment of the family. Then Yamraj's messengers forcefully take out his life and in such a situation, when his life forcely comes out of his eyes, then his eyes are reversed.

Spiritual souls come out of their mouths
According to the scriptures, the release of Prana Vayu from the mouth is considered very auspicious. It is believed that those who walk on the path of religion throughout their life, their souls come out of their mouths and they do not have to suffer much in Yamalok. When the life of such people comes out of their mouth, their mouth becomes crooked.

After the death of any person, his weight decreases by 21 grams. It is clear from this that when the soul leaves the body of a person, then its weight decreases and it is also clear from this that the weight of the soul is about 21 grams.
