Schuyler NKJV Quentel - Blue Goatskin | 28 GSM

Review of the "sleeker" NKJV Quentel by Schuyler. A gorgeous Bible even thought it has a few issues. See my review update after one month of use here:    • Schuyler Quentel NKJV 28 GSM Update   | Below are my initial thoughts...


What I love about this Bible:

1 - Size: It's exactly what Schuyler promised and it's really what I was looking for. Portable, "sleek," elegant, I love it.

2 - Margins: They are 12mm in the outer margin and that's great! Awesome space in the gutter like always. I think there's also more space in the bottom margin below the references when you compare it with the older version (36 GSM NKJV Quentel).

3 - Color: Not as dark and shiny like the previous imperial blue by Schuyler (see my Thinline NASB as comparison in the video), but it's beautiful and it keeps growing on me :)

4 - Leather cover: Thick and smells awesome... Smells sooo good :)


What I don't like:

1 - I prefer a pronounced grain in the goatskin leather. This leather is smooth. It's awesome, no doubt, just not my preference.

2 - Didn't find the printing to be consistent all the way through the Bible (black and red have issues). That is a bit disappointing at this price range.
