Glamtainers: Shipping Container Glamping at NRMA in NSW, Australia. In this video, we bring you a shipping containers glamping experience at NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort in NSW, Australia. This caravan style rooms were fabricated by Melbourne based company GlamXperience, who specialize in repurposing shipping containers into luxury accommodation. The containers were fabricated offsite then tracked and hoisted into place, a nice vantage location in the park next to the beach. Each glamtainer is made from two container modules. There is a 20 foot container and a 10 foot container attached together. Each Glamtainer is easily movable and extendable in size. The 20 foot module has a full open glass section that pulls out with bedding and a lounge seating. The 20 footer is connected to a 10 foot container which has a separate bedroom for the kids.

The glamtainers are painted dark to help them recede into the serene beach property. Ocean Beach has two Glamtainers, and prices start at $357 per night.
