i soooooo apologize in advance to all those london-ers out there for my terrible attempt at this accent, and i know a few that i’ll have to tell personally.

so, for this play audition, i was trying last minute to get an english-cockney accent together to do this. it wasn’t something i planned at first, but it seemed like something it needed. and so i figured, if i got the part, i could always work "moor" on the accent to hone it in. (i'm such a punster.)

yeah, why not just go for it?

notes were:
"a stage production about a governess who arrives in a remote corner of the Yorkshire moors to find a household of oddballs."
"Marjory: Lead, Female, 50+ The scullery maid. Downtrodden. Vicious and strategic."
(yes, they did ask me to read for this female role.)

oh to be so hollywood and watch with all of these fancy actor auditions, just so you can know... don't try this at home kids. you're better than that.
