Artist Spotlight 01 focuses on Patrick Perdue, a most excellent Sound-Engineer, Sound-Designer, Musician and longtime friend of mine. I've known him since 2003 and over that time, we've collaborated on multiple projects, produced music together, and it was an honor to have his take on the #InspiredBySound concept.
This is the first of hopefully many Artist Spotlights, in which we focus on what makes them tick, inspires them, motivates and interests them, and take a brief dive into their world.

Here's Patrick in his own words.

Hi. I'm Patrick Perdue, and I like buttons and knobs.

Born and raised in North Carolina, transplanted to New York City, the engineering aspect of audio is what I do.

Though I primarily produce podcasts and sspoken word material, I sometimes consider myself a musician, primarily keys, with guitar and bass on the side.

I enjoy sound design and field recording, though I don't get to do these things as often as I would like.
As such, I am a proponent of detail in audio productions. The little things really do matter!
