Milwaukee - Wireless cable cutter

Hey all!

I filmed the short clip months ago for the guys at the office, just to show them how to operate this wireless cable cutter.

What happened was - we had to cut cables in an enclosure that were bundles up with many other live cables. While we had performed multiple steps to confirm having the proper cables identified, we felt it still wasn't a good idea to have a guy in the pit during the cut. We purchased this cutter which can be lowered in with rope and then fully operated from a remote location.


I've had this video locked as "private" since filmed, simply because it really doesn't show much...
I kinda figured today I'd make the video public just to show you that it's out there!
Also, it's kind of a comlicated procedure to get it to operate. (which is demonstrated in the video)

The cutter requires this complicated procedure to operate because once the cutter activates it can't be stopped. The jaws are very powerful and are specially designed for cutting large underground cables.
