Welcome onboard one of the most iconic flights in commercial aviation — Singapore Airlines Flight SQ22 from Singapore Changi (SIN) to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). At 9,534 miles (15,344 km), this flight to Newark now stands as the second longest flight in the world, just 3 miles shy of being the reigning champ and outdone by SQ's own flight to New York JFK.

At a flight time of over 18 hours, Singapore Airlines' uses the uniquely configured Airbus A350-900ULR for this route, as the only operator of the type. There are only two cabin classes onboard — Business Class and Premium Economy — with no regular Economy section, making this aircraft feel exceptionally spacious and premium-focused. Business Class which we'll be exploring today features 67 fully-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring direct aisle access for every passenger.
