Описание к видео Tricopter Flips And Testing

Its been a while since I had the opportunity to fly my tricopter as I was really liking the V-tail tricopter configuration. I decided that I wanted to change up the way that teh V-tail rear boom assembly went over the boom.

I wanted to change things up since I am still learning to fly acro. I hated always breaking booms and followed the guide from Fortis Airframes for their carbon wood hybrid boom:

http://www.fortisairframes.com/how-to...

This boom has proven to be extremely strong as I crashed it into a soccer goal post and did not break any arms. For the yaw mechanism I thought I would give the rotorbits yaw mechanism a shot. This can be found at Hobby King:

There seems to be some inherent slop in the yaw mechanism which has proven difficult for me to tune out and I think is contributing to a lot of the jello that I have in the video. Part of the jello may be the props also since I did have a few crashes prior to shooting the video.

My current weight without battery and original gopro is 733 grams (1.6 pounds):

Setup:
Self Designed G10 Frame Plates/Landing Gears/Battery-Camera Tray
SUNNYSKY X2212 KV980 II Motors
SimonK Flashed Hobby King 30A ESC
Hobby King 939 Metal Gear Servo
Rotorbits yaw Mechanism
Crius V2.5 Flight Controller with Multiwii 2.3
10x4.5 SF Props
3s and 4s Batteries

For the Yaw on Multiwii 2.3 I had to use the solution in the following link so that I could keep the old yaw pin out, I tried the new pinout but ended up burning up two servos and decided that I would stick with the old tricopter motor layout. I may have been using the incorrect pins as the 2.3 documentation is not clear for the tricopter layout.

Multiwii 2.3 seems to require more a lot more rate then I was using in 2.2. I am at around 80 for the rate for the pitch and roll and about 20 for the yaw.
