Going back to the US from the Netherlands was a bitter reminder of why we moved to the Netherlands and why we are not going back (to live). The United States of America (USA) can be a beautiful place to live but moving to Europe is the place you want to be. When Tammy and I decided to become expats, pack it up and move to the Netherlands, we left behind things that we never wanted to see again. But guess what happened? The longer we live in the Netherlands the more we are starting to become Dutch, and we don't even realize it (that's a good thing)! The one thing we can tell you for sure is that life in Rotterdam or just life in the Netherlands is a life that everyone should live.
