After replacing the ground strap on my E92 I got the idea to make this video. It may be possible to place the bolt, threads down, from the top of the engine lug. That will prevent the ground strap from falling while tightening the bolt.

This is a DIY video to help you replace the ground strap for your BMW E92. If your battery is good and your car won't start, check the ground strap first. In an emergency you can use jumper cables inside the engine compartment. To do that ground the engine to the chassis and try to start your car.
