Original 2001 story

Lord James's daughter is one of the rebels fighting
King Williams wizard Argotn in 1076AD Britain

When Argoth goes about turning rebels into animal nasties,
Lord James is worried about his daughters humanity.

So when her horse comes back one night without her he leaves
the castle to look for her.

He hears her screams of terror in the forest and foolishly
enters it.Argoth plans to turn the Lady Janet into a dragon and then
send the beastie through a time portal to parts unknown

However Lord James rushes in front of his daughter and takes the full brunt of the
dragon cursed spell.Argoth sensibly leaps into the time portal to avoid
a enraged Lady Janet and a mutating Lord James.

After a tender father-daughter moment,Lady Janet pushes the
emerging dragon that used to be her father through the
time portal.

Both James the Dragon and the Wizard Argoth emerge in 1967 Confederation
Canada and muck up Canadian history.
