We are trying to develop a specialized aerial solution for automatic aerial analysis of traffic activity in highways and city roads as well as air quality index using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). For fine-grained data analysis, we have developed an Environment Monitoring Device using low cost pollutant sensors.Our approach proposes a novel solution to automate traffic flow estimation, using computer vision and also introduces the notion of making the recording equipment mobile by using drone-based equipment, negating the need for fixed recording installations. We are approaching for aerial traffic monitoring system because it overcomes the limitations of traditional methods, adds mobility and ability to cover large areas and also acts immediately in case of violations of traffic rule.
