A Brave Cat Jump Away From A Burning Building.

When a building ignited in East Harlem, New York, most people were terrified of an orange cat who hung out of a window, unsure of whether to jump or not, while the fire ripped through the building behind him, which had been caused by a man who was wanted on domestic violence charges.

The man had breached his restraining order and broken into his ex partner’s flat, so he decided to barricade himself in a room and set the place on fire. Luckily, the resident was out at the time, However, the cat was still trapped in a burning building.

Before making the jump, the cat was absolutely terrified, and he hesitates between going back into the building and making his leap.

The people on the ground were becoming more frantic as the cat made his decision.
Even the police officers opened their arms to catch the cat, and onlookers yelled up to the cat to jump.

Thankfully, after a couple of agonizing seconds, the cat decided to make the two-story leap out of the building after the fire became more dangerous. Although he missed the arms of the officers, he pushed himself away from the wall to have a comfortable landing.

Once on the ground, the cat was walking around in spite of being a little blackened and burned, definitely more than a little shaken. One onlooker handed him to an officer, who then turned him over to Animal Control Centers.

People took to the comments of the video of “Tomcat” on Youtube to give compliments of the cat’s bravery: “Such a smart, brave little kitty. A true New Yorker!”, “That’s a crazy video. If that cat had nine lives it just used up eight of them.”, “Thank goodness the cat didn’t hide and get trapped, I hope he’s okay.”

Hope the cat soon finds his owner or a new home that he can truly live a happy and safe life. Moreover, we expect there will be no more heart-stopping moments like this scene in the future. Animal's safety first.
