Singing for my auntie today. She left this world suddenly and too soon. My favourite memory was when we were driving and singing in her car. She told me she was always scared when she was young, and it wasn’t till that year that she started taking lessons. She told me all about breath support and how hard singing actually was. I ended up going to performing arts college and experiencing vocal lessons for the first time. She was right. Now when I sing, I think of her and sing hoping she can live through it, so she can have all the time that she didn’t. Our family’s voice and music is a blessing. So grateful. RIP aunty Sue 💕
