STORYLINE:

The US World Cup soccer team resumed practice on Monday in Seoul amid heavy security.

South Korean tournament organizers, the US State Department and the team have been cooperating to keep the players safe during the tournament period.

All have fears that terrorists might try and target the players in wake of the September 11th tragedies.

The team allows journalists to film 15 minutes of practice daily, per FIFA rules. However, they will close their practice on Tuesday.

Players over the weekend said they were not distracted by the heavy security.

The coach added that feeling safe has added to their overall peace of mind in preparation for Portugal on June 5th.
