Fall interest in zone 5b

Fall is an interesting time of the year. Not only you have fall-bloom flowers, but ornamental grass also set seeds, the foliage started to change color (I haven't seen it yet), & interesting flower seedheads from prior bloom make fall a special season.

All these plants are easy to grow except my Crabapple weeping tree which doesn't really grow. It is in her 3rd year now. It could be from all the vole tract that stop the root from extending.

Finally, my new hardy mum addition for this year in bloom... Chrysanthemum Royal Glamour. This could be because this is newly planted this spring. Will observe for another year to see but at least this fills the gap between Jessica Louise mum and Coral Cavalier mum which hasn't bloom yet (but almost).
