Here is the homily that I gave for the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the second in the series, "He Really Meant It." We live in a world in which reverence has diminished. This change is directly linked to the loss of the sense of Sin. If we say Jesus is the Son of God, our lives have to reflect that belief by our turning away from Sin. And with that belief will be a return to reverence for the Eucharist.
