Recently, JWST has been having an issue with one of its observing modes. The medium resolution spectrograph on the MIRI instrument was feeling some extra forces when it turned one of its wheels, and that's bad! Fortunately, the teams involved have found a way to continue using it while mitigating the impact that this problem had on the telescope, so space is back on the menu!
