How to Cut Large Format Porcelain Tiles

Well I messed up today cutting two large porcelain tiles but quickly realised why.

So I thought I'd let you know what went wrong. It's really annoying because I've cut all of the rest of the kitchen floor tiles flawlessly but the problem is I took a two week break and kind of forgot what made what I was doing so successful. And since then we've had a load of rain and the pallet I was cutting the tiles on has swelled and is no longer flat. And that's where the problem came. I'm really low on tiles and now I'm going to have to buy some more because I snapped the first two tiles that I cut.
