Transformer losses
There are various types of losses in a transformer, including:
Copper Loss: This is the loss that occurs due to the electrical resistance of the transformer's windings, resulting in the dissipation of heat.
Core Loss: This loss occurs due to the hysteresis and eddy currents in the transformer's core, which cause it to heat up and lose energy.
Stray Loss: This loss occurs due to the leakage of magnetic flux from the transformer's core, resulting in energy loss.
Dielectric Loss: This loss occurs due to the energy that is lost as a result of the electrical insulation in the transformer.
Load Loss: This is the loss that occurs due to the transformer supplying power to a load, resulting in energy loss.
The total losses in a transformer are the sum of these individual losses. Transformers are designed to minimize these losses and operate at maximum efficiency, but some losses are inevitable due to the physical limitations of the materials used in their construction.

Transformer ki core kee material ka chayan uski upyogita aur vibhinn kshetron mein istemal ke aadhaar par kiya jata hai. Transformer ki core kee bani huee material kee pramukh visheshtayen uski halki vajan, shakti ghat aur pratirudh pratikriya ko kam karne ki kshamata, aur ekadhik gunavatta par upalabdhata shaamil hai.
Transformer ke cores ke lie kayi prakar ke materials upalabdh hain jaise ki silicon steel, ferrite, amorphous alloy, laminated steel, aur powdered iron. Inme se sabse adhik upyog silicon steel aur ferrite se bane hue cores mein kiya jata hai.
