The worlds strongest economies are located in Asia. After the second world war Japan had an increasable economic boom followed by a few decades of limited growth, also known the lost decades. Japan still remained as one of the biggest economies of Asia.

Around 2010 China has taken over the spot of the largest economy in Asia, currently it is still growing at a staggering rate. Other large economies in Asia are India, South Korea and Indonesia.

In terms of GDP per capita, small states like Hong Kong and Macao do really well. Other countries that do well in this category are Israel, Kuwait, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
