Backpacking in Ireland | The Slieve Bloom Way Day 1| Ireland's Waymarked Trails

The Slieve Bloom Way is one of Ireland's 42 waymarked trails. It is a 70-80km looped backpacking trail around the Slieve Bloom Mountains which borders the counties of Laois and Offaly. The trail is vast and there are many different types of terrain. Usually the trail is completed over two and a half days and I carried all the food that I needed. I have a video of what I packed for this hike which I will link below. I hope this video shows how stunning this trail really is and helps you to plan your journey.
