Helenio Herrera may not have been the inventor of catenaccio, but his mastery of the ultra-defensive tactic has influenced coaches ever since. Nicknamed ‘The Wizard’, Herrera can also claim to be one of the first superstar managers - the all-conquering Grande Inter side of the 1960s is remembered more as his team than that of any player.
