Due to very unfortunate circumstances (to put it mildly), E3 2020 got cancelled, but even when E3 does make its return, it's highly unlikely that Sony will want to be a part of it. They chose to skip the show in 2019, and had already announced that they'd be doing the same this year before the upcoming June event was cancelled, while they've also been pretty vocal about their issues with E3 as a whole.

It's a real shame, too, because some of the greatest E3 moments have come from Sony's press events- and here, we're going to take a trip down memory lane.
